A look back at Capt. Bob in his earlier days - always fixing something!

This was probably 40 years ago - fixing the outboard!
Two children, three grandchildren and 6 boats
under his belt, Bob is still fixing something...

Fishing aboard the Erica Lee II is always an adventure.  If you want to fish in comfort with lots of elbow room, the Erica Lee II is your boat.  Captain Bob Yeomans has been fishing in the waters off of Plum Island and Newburyport for over 45 years.  Some of our anglers have been with us since we started.  The spring and fall deep-sea season offers some of the best catches in the colder water, while the summer season brings warm breezes, warmer water, whales and a steady catch of fish.

The 48' Erica Lee II is docked at The Black Cow restaurant on the Newburyport, MA waterfront.  The waters off of Newburyport and Plum Island are known for spectacular deep-sea fishing and  Capt. Bob Yeomans and crew are known for bringing that catch home.

We strive to make your trip as pleasant as possible.  Our heated cabin and comfortable seating allow you to relax on the way to the fishing grounds out on Jeffreys Ledge.

Our skilled crew will expertly prepare your bait, gaff and fillet your fish and supply you with a never-ending banter of fishing trips gone by!

Our Spring Walkaboard Wednesday trips are a huge success. We have now added Monday Walkaboard trips.  No need to charter the whole boat, just call 978-462-2017 to reserve your space. Limited to 15 anglers. Erica Lee II fishing out of Newburyport, MA.

Consider a Sunset Cruise with friendsOr.....you can choose to end your day with us on a spectacular sunset cruise.

NATIONAL MARINE FISHERIES/NOAA HAS CLOSED COD AND HADDOCK FISHING FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 2014, THROUGH APRIL 30, 2015.

This closure is having a serious impact on all fishermen in the Gulf of Maine area - involved in the head-boat, charter fishery. We will be attending meeting throughout the winter and will update our site as anything changes.

Note:  Fishermen in our area have questioned the lack of any limits on the haddock fisheries and understood and welcomed the limits set on cod.  So............our catch limits went from unlimited catch numbers on haddock to 3 haddock per person this Spring and now down to 0 haddock and 0 cod.
